Vape Ban: Smokers Returning To Cigarettes Good For Treasury’s Health

MALACCA:  Today authorities warned unless the nation’s 1 million vapers switch back to cigarettes, it would seriously impact the government’s health.

“Vaping in Malaysia is a multi-million ringgit industry,” said a Finance Ministry Health spokesman, “but by avoiding the 49% excise taxes applicable to cigarettes, vape smoking is causing treasury collection officials to experience headaches, nausea and shortness of breath!”

New fiscal health research suggests these symptoms will go away once vaping is banned in Malaysia and smokers head back to 7-11 for a pack of Marlboros.
