Festival Filem Judges Call For Bahasa And Non-Bahasa Olympic Competitions

Malaysia rio olympics

PETALING JAYA:  Today National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (Finas) judges suggested our Sports Ministry speak with International Olympic Committee (IOC) officials in Rio about some last minute changes.

“The IOC should introduce separate competitions for Bahasa and Non-Bahasa fluent athletes,” suggested Malaysian Film Festival judge Faisal Abu Bakar, “what better way to foster unity among athletes and bring out their best, than by dividing them into separate categories!”

While Malaysian Sports officials have yet to comment, Finas judges say we would win even more gold medals if there were separate competitions for Bahasa Melayu and Bahasa Indon speakers.
