Stolen Billions We Can Live With But Night Raids Uncalled For, Neighbours Say

TAMAN DUTA:  Today neighbours spoke out against the late-night raid on former Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak’s Langgak Duta residence which kicked off 10 pm last night.

“This is just a simple run-of-the-mill investigation into the world’s largest case of kleptocracy,” said one resident, “surely they can do this investigation by the book at a civilised hour and not during Ramadhan?”

“All that allegedly happened here is the nation’s wealth was deliberately syphoned out and laundered under the direction of an until recently untouchable Prime Minister/ Finance Minister who could flee and evade extradition like the former Thai PM at any moment.

“Missing billions I can live with but these night raids are seriously uncalled for!”
