Eatery’s Street Food Tastes Like Street

BANGSAR: Malaysia’s pothole food aficionados were dealt a harsh blow by Kuala Lumpur City Hall on the weekend after it was revealed the authentic street food flavours at Raj’s Banana Leaf included the distinct taste of street.

“I’ve always wondered how Raj’s specialty vegetable dosa had that rich gravelly taste, it’s a shame to see it closed down,” explained back street asphalt gourmet, Abdullah bin Bakar,

“You have to hand it to the ‘newly hired’ staff working at Raj’s dedicating themselves to the traditional back lane puddle plate marination process that gives dishes there a distinct flavour. If you’re extra lucky, staff will sit you near an open drain which is a real feast for the senses!”

Badminton player Lee Chong Wei has tested positive for owning part of the business.
