PAS Reveals Design For Second National Car

KOTA BHARU: PAS members close to Datuk Mohd Khairuddin Aman have revealed designs for a second national car today should Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad take them up on their offer to be Putrajaya’s strategic partners.

“The PM is obviously disgruntled after his dream for another national car was shot down by almost everyone, but we believe after an initial Saudi Arabian technological transfer, Malaysia could begin rolling out Sunnah-based national cars after the 13 month gestation period,” explained PAS chief automotive analyst, Muhammad Ali Rashid ruling out customer complaints about electric windows, gearbox failure and car boot flooding.

KB-based engineers report the new national car will be capable of speeds up to 65km/hr, include a 200-litre water tank, and will be Malaysia’s first locally made hybrid vehicle running on both grass or grain.

The new national car is eco-friendly however Muhammad advised customers standing behind his prototype to be wary of sudden emissions.
