PARLIAMENT: Facing questions about a RM5 million remuneration package, former premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak said despite appearances to join 1MDB Arul Kanda took a haircut.
“He used to earn much more heading up an Abu Dhabi Bank, but the former premier had the shear genius to shave down his lofty salary expectations,” explained troubled wealth fund executive remuneration negotiation analyst, Abdullah bin Bakar,
“Imagine walking away from an accomplished UAE banking career knowing you’d likely be forever tarnished after heading up a globally investigated, scandal-ridden 1MDB money laundering turd fire?”
“Best of all, they somehow lured a skilled negotiator like Arul into 1MDB by offering him less money than he was currently making! It must have been some job interview!”
